Questions.
What exactly do I get to send to a printer?
A PDF at 300dpi with your QR code, your wording, and your logo on paid plans. Crop marks and 3mm bleed are already set up, and the page size is derived from the card rather than a named paper size, so a printer can use the file as it is without coming back with questions.
How small can the QR code be printed?
It scans reliably at about 2cm across. That is why the printed web address is short: a longer address makes a denser code, and a dense code is the one that fails on a small card in a dim hallway. Error correction is set to level M on every code we generate.
Can I change the questions after the cards are printed?
Yes. The code points at Monact, not at a fixed page. You can rewrite the questions, or switch the whole campaign from a survey to review links, and every card already sitting in a box follows the change.
Do I need a separate code for each product or each order?
No. One code covers an entire print run. Inserts get stuffed into boxes in bulk weeks before an order exists, and per-card codes would force variable-data printing that most printers will not do cheaply.
If everyone shares one code, how do you tell buyers apart?
By the browser, not the code. Each visitor gets a random identifier the first time they scan, so two buyers a minute apart count as two scans, and one buyer cannot fill the same survey in twenty times.
How do you calculate scan rate?
We divide scans by the number of units you tell us you printed. We cannot observe that number — every card in a run is identical — so the dashboard says the figure came from you, and shows nothing at all until you fill it in.
What happens when I go over my plan limit?
Nothing a buyer would notice. Every scan is still redirected, every response is still collected and counted. You are prompted in the dashboard, and that is the whole enforcement mechanism. There is deliberately no function anywhere that can refuse a scan for billing reasons.
Can I test it before printing thousands?
Yes, and you should. Print one card at home, scan it with your own phone, and walk through what a buyer sees. The free plan covers this completely.
