Who builds this

Monact is built and operated by Thrilla Digital Ltd, a company registered in Scotland, number SC878333. It is one product with one job: turning parcels that have already shipped into reviews and honest feedback, for sellers who never get their customer’s email address.

Why it exists

Insert cards are not new. What is common — and what most tools in this space are built around — is review gating: asking a buyer how happy they are, then sending the happy ones to the public review page and the unhappy ones to a private complaints form.

It works, in the sense that ratings go up. It is also prohibited by Amazon, Google and Trustpilot, and the US Federal Trade Commission has taken enforcement action over suppressed reviews. Sellers buy these tools without realising what they do, and the risk lands on the seller’s account rather than the vendor’s.

We built the version that cannot do it.

What we will not build

These are constraints in the codebase, checked by an automated test suite that fails the build if any of them is broken. They are not settings, and they are not promises we could quietly change:

• No sentiment routing. No rule can read a buyer’s answer and change what they see next. Every respondent walks the same path.
• No mood score. There was one, for the seller’s analytics, and it is gone. Five 1s and five 5s average to the same number as ten 3s, and those are completely different businesses. We show the distribution.
• No refusing a scan. There is no function anywhere in the product that can turn a buyer away for a billing reason. Someone holding a printed card has done nothing wrong.

Things we are open about

• Scan rate is your number, not ours. Every card in a print run is identical, so we cannot observe how many you printed. You type it in and the dashboard says it came from you.
• We are new. There are no customer logos on this site because there are no customers to name yet. We would rather say that than borrow somebody else’s.
• We are not lawyers. The guides here are a plain-English reading of published marketplace policy, and those policies change. Check the current wording in your own seller account before you commit to a print run.
